The Art of Toastmastering-February 2023
As a Professional Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies I take pride in my work, and love to provide the highest professionalism. It is therefore very rewarding to be thanked by my brides, bridegrooms and other clients, when they describe the style, humour, and gravitas of the work I do. There are some lovely reviews on my testimonials page @ www.toastmasterguy.com
It is also humbling to be recognised by the wedding Industry. In the last month I have received three accolades for 2023, recognising my performance assessed by the below industry professionals:
Hitched wedding awards 2023 - winner London East. Named by Hitched as being in the top six Toastmasters in the UK, 2023.
Prestige Awards Specialist Entertainer of the Year, 2023, London & South East.
Last year I was privileged to receive the below: Hitched wedding awards 2022 - Winner - London East. Prestige Awards - Winner. Host of the year (London) 2022.
I love the etiquette and tradition of Toastmastering in this country - no one else in the world can match us for this. But that doesn't mean its stuffy, too formal or posh. The art form is matching the style, feel and atmosphere desired by my clients; one of the first questions I ask my clients in our first meeting. It can be as informal or formal as you like, bespoke to your needs.
A professional Toastmaster hugely raises the feel-good factor of your wedding or event. He or she takes away the worries, ensuring your guests are welcomed, put at ease, informed, and in the right place at the right time. But, much more than that, everything they do; introducing speechmakers, announcing receiving lines, making calls to ceremonies and wedding breakfasts, performing formal entries, introducing the cutting of the cake, first dance, and much more, is carried out with flair and panache.
