Extra bit of pizzazz!

Hiring Guy as our Toastmaster was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding this past Saturday!
Guy is a true professional and very passionate about his work. From the first Zoom call with him, we knew he would be the perfect person to guide us and our guests through the day. He added such a unique touch to the day - particularly for our American guests who had never seen a Toastmaster at a wedding.
Leading up to the wedding, Guy had several calls with us where he asked many questions to best understand the type of wedding we wanted to have, providing suggestions on the schedule and different key points of the day. He always made us feel like we had complete control but was extremely helpful in guiding us.
The day was SEAMLESS, and Guy was a huge part of that. He provided the right amount of structure and guidance to the day, getting our guests to the right place and getting them excited and energized. Outstanding Experience!
Wow, from the very first conversation to the very last Guy was outstanding and professional. He supported us from day one and was always at the end of the phone if needed.
On the day of the wedding Guy was there every step of the way to ensure the day ran smoothly without any issues. He greeted every guest and kept them well informed throughout the day. Massive attention to detail and also gave me a few tips for my speech. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Guy was very approachable even to the point where our seven year old daughter could sneakily ask him if she could say a few words at the wedding breakfast.
We would recommend Guy to anyone considering a toastmaster. Take some time out to just have a chat with him and you will see straight away that having Guy at your wedding is the right thing to do. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Delivered an amazing service

Made our wedding one to remember!
Guy was a brilliant toastmaster for our wedding! He went above and beyond to make our wedding day flow as smoothly as it did, our venue was a dry hire and I had sleepless nights wondering how the day would flow and who would introduce the speeches, announce the cake cutting, first dance and more but soon as I found Guy I stopped worrying about any of those things as he takes all those worries from you.

We couldn't have pulled it off without Guy
What can we say - Guy was brilliant!
Our big day finally happened on Saturday 2nd July this year (2022) after being postponed THREE times due to Covid.
Guy was so patient with us throughout the wedding build up with changing our date so many times and he made us feel relaxed because of this. He is quick to respond to emails and texts and is always happy to help!
We had two meetings before the big day, one via zoom and one phone call, which were 2 weeks before and week of the wedding to run through the breakdown of the day. We found it super helpful as changes were happening daily!
On the day, Guy was one of the first people there to welcome us as we got out of our wedding car.
Guy was the man who let us know where we needed to be whenever we asked - which we truly needed as our day had over 150 guests and did not run in the traditional order (for example; we had the cake cutting - our dessert- and toasts BEFORE the wedding breakfast! As my partner wouldn't have been able to eat the dinner with his nerves).
Guy brings with him a big voice which is so needed with a large group of people - especially Aunties who have selective hearing haha!
Guy was on it from the start and he even adds in his little surprises and speeches at each relevant moment on the day.
He was also brilliant rounding up family members for photos too!

Attention to detail and meticulous planning
Having found Guy via his website we were initially impressed with his video montage and how he could command attention to relay important information to wedding guests.
After our email of enquiry Guy arranged a FaceTime in order for us to discuss various topics. He gave an introduction on himself, asked us about our lives, careers, interests and, importantly, our big day.
He described how he would keep the day flowing, removing any potential stress from our shoulder, in order for our day to be an enjoyable one, and gave advice on the traditional components of a wedding - citing speeches, pre meal grace and much more.
This FaceTime kickstarted our vison of how our wedding day would be, as Guy explained the connection he would make between himself, the venue and our other suppliers - with timings at the heart of the day ticking over as it should.
A month prior we met Guy at our wedding venue and ran through the space, timings and back up plans should the weather not be favourable. We also spoke a week prior where we finalised all the necessary points and made slight amendments to the schedule. Guy was very flexible with this and worked with us after we spoke with him regarding some minor tweaks to the running order.
Two days prior to the wedding we were advised of a demonstration that was planned to start at midday opposite our venue. This could potentially have caused an issue for both suppliers and guests arriving for our celebrations. After notifying Guy he put our minds at rest and advised a course of action to reduce any impact the demo may have. He contacted the transport company who were bringing our guests from the church to the venue, whilst also liaising with my best man via SMS. He provided them both with information he had gathered from Police officers in attendance regarding any road closures and the demo route. Guy went above and beyond doing this as he arrived early with the purpose of finding out as much as possible to remove any stress from us and to avoid disruption with our schedule.
During the drinks and canapés reception Guy made our guests feel welcome, helping with any queries regarding gifts or table plan that they had. With the call to the wedding breakfast he swiftly guided our guests into The Ballroom and subsequently announced us with an impressive formal entry. From the afternoon into the evening Guy announced the wedding breakfast, introduced the three speeches and then onto the first dance and cake cutting.
All in all it was a pleasure to work with Guy. Our decision to engage his services paid dividends with the attention to detail he applied to all areas of our day and the meticulous planning in the run up, which assisted with removing any room for error. He communicated with us on the day, keeping us up to date with proceedings and more importantly reminding us to enjoy every minute.

You’ve found the one! Guy was one of the key people at our wedding for more than just his smart appearance but also his professionalism, politeness and organisation. We met with him weeks before the wedding and on the wedding day he ensured that everything we wanted including how we wanted it, was done. Like every wedding, there’s a timetable but easy to get carried away and time just flys by. The main thing that stands out for me was Guy was very attentive, Reminding me of the things that I wanted to happen and the timings etc.. was key to our wedding flowing beautifully. The introductions throughout the day were brilliant along with the managing of guests throughout the photographs. My genuine thoughts are that the effort he put it were as if it was his own wedding he was organising. Even more perfect than we could imagine
We couldn’t recommend Guy enough, from the moment we engaged with Guy he was professional, personable and he really takes time to get to know the type of event you are holding to ensure that it all runs smoothly. Blending two cultures can be tricky at times but the stress was completely taken away from us.

Simply stated- Guy made our day.
We didn’t have a care in the world all day because Guy was there. He kept us informed about what was going on, how we could optimize, and even worked out moving up our wedding breakfast to better suit the events as they were unfolding. Even with some rambunctious guests, Guy was able to conduct the crowd and gain attention whenever needed. He skillfully executed a “bubble tunnel” with all of the guests present while we walked through the bubbles… not an easy feat.
Bottom line- We couldn’t imagine our wedding day running as smoothly or carefree as it did without Guy. Hands down, amazing toastmaster!
In addition to the exceptional service that Guy provides on the day of the wedding, he is also available to bounce ideas off from the minute we engaged with him. He provided valuable advice for speeches, flow of the day for planning, and assured us of his role months before the wedding. Guy was available and responsive for any and all of our needs. Get Guy for your special day!
Guy is an absolutely amazing Toastmaster and great addition to any wedding. We were a bit nervous on the big day itself as there were a lot of moving parts, but as soon as Guy came in all those nerves were alleviated as he was in complete control of every potential situation.
He was great at bringing up the atmosphere in the room, ran a great Mr and Mrs game and kept everything really well on time! In advance of the big day, we had several check ins to make sure all organised. This was a day with two different cultures coming together (Hindu and Muslim) and Guy was very mindful and respectful of this.
Lastly, as a couple on the day it's really important to having calming influences on the day and Guy was definitely this and more. We had complete trust in him on the day and this helped us so much.

Delivered an amazing service
We came across Guy's Toastmaster services on Hitched, and the reviews we read filled us with confidence from the outset. Guy was very responsive to our initial messages and patient given our busy schedules, and we eventually arranged a date to meet and discuss the details of our day.
We were so impressed with our first meeting with Guy - it was a chance to really get to know each other and it was clear we were working with a real professional. We spoke about the agenda, the atmosphere we wanted to create on the day and the key people of the wedding party. Guy was very transparent that he had never done a Bengali-Muslim wedding before and we were very transparent about how chaotic they can usually be! Having said that, Guy covered every detail and explained how he can bring order to the day. Guy stayed in touch right up to the big day, which was also very reassuring.
Guy arrived on time (early if anything!), ready to greet our guests which bought a real sense of order and flair to the event. Everything ran to time perfectly which is near enough unheard of for weddings in our community! Guests were raving on the day about how good a job he was doing, and continue to mention it because everyone was so impressed. Guy commanded a real presence in the room without taking away from us and our guests, ensuring the agenda ran on time, but still being respectful and cooperative if something wasn't happening when it should've. He always got it back on track and made me and Murad feel very comfortable and care-free on the day - which makes the whole day that much more memorable.
For any bride hoping for a toastmaster who is professional, listens to the kind of wedding day you want whilst delivering an amazing service, Guy is the toastmaster for you.
