A happy new year to all my clients, past, present and future.
Looking back on 2025 my wife and I started with a three month sabbatical to South South America we began in Buenos Aires. Argentina then moved onto Brazil. Rio was a favourite, visiting the Rocinha favela which blew away some stereotypes. São Paulo was next, then Benito and Foz do Iguacu, the most beautiful waterfalls between Brazil and Argentina
Next up was the highest capital city in the world; La Paz in Bolivia. From here we mountain biked down the Death Road, as featured by Jeremy Clarkson a few years ago on Top Gear. Then onto the amazing country of Peru. We camped and trekked to Machu Picchu. We included a trip to see our younger son in Boise, Idaho, before returning you to England and on with my professional Toastmastering.

It was a joy to Toastmaster some fantastic weddings in 2025. Below is a photo of the brand-new Mr and Mrs Suliman at their wedding at Monkey Island estate, Bray, Maidenhead on the River Thames.
In mid-2025 I was delighted to be invited to join the Society Of London Toastmasters. The Society is very experienced in working in the City of London and the West End, and the members are very professional, which sits well with me. Together with my membership of the Guild Of Professional Toastmasters I believe I am well-positioned in the two finest Professional Toastmastering organisations in the country. Many weddings, corporate dinners, repeat annual events in London and the Home Counties made for a very enjoyable 2025. After a short break in Rome in January 2026, I'm looking forward to my first large event at the Park Plaza London Riverbank Hotel at the end of January. Enjoy the New Year and the longer days.
