Well, what a year so far...
I have been very busy since July when partial opening up of lockdown started. Lots of fantastic weddings all over Essex, Kent, London, Hampshire, Surrey, Hertfordshire, and Sussex. I've had Masonic Ladies festivals, banquets and dinners. Lots of bookings for 2022 and 2023 already made and plenty more in the offing!
I love the testimonials I receive, its heartwarming to know that my services have been truly appreciated. Take a look!
Technology has helped us out this last year; Zoom meetings, or FaceTime or WhatsApp video allow a much more personal touch (than a phone call) when I talk to prospective brides, bridegroom and clients. I always offer this meeting without obligation. Once I have been engaged, I make my plans. These are brought to life in the face-to-face meeting at the venue a couple of months before the big day. By the time the day arrives, the professional working relationship with brides, bridegrooms and clients is really strong. Throughout the period from engaging me until the big day, I am available to my clients for advice.
As we move towards Christmas, the Omicron variant of Covid-19 is bringing more uncertainty. My clients have always been reassured by my policy of moving dates due to lockdowns without charge. Lets hope we have no more lockdowns and in this country we are, thankfully, in a strong place with the majority vaccinated. My wife and I are due to visit our younger son in Louisiana in December / January for his graduation. I certainly hope we get out there... and back without too much upheaval. Must get the Christmas tree and decorations up now!
The festive season brings with it romance and an increase in engagements. I have December weddings this month, too, which will have a lovely festive feel about them.
So, if you are considering booking a professional Toastmaster and MC, with the finest, unrivalled service, bespoke to you, look no further. I will be delighted to help. I wish you all a safe and happy December and a merry Christmas,
Well, we made it into the new year! Mine was a lovely, unusual Christmas and new year spent in Louisiana and Texas. There are no toastmasters to speak of in the USA, more's the pity!
Its been a really encouraging start to 2022, with lots of enquiries each week, and bookings for my professional services. Brides and Bridegrooms are optimistic for the future, as am I.
That's not to ignore the elephant in the room, though. Omicron put the cat amongst the pigeons and this new strain of Covid-19 showed how infectious it could be. Hopefully we are now past the peak. It throws into sharp relief, though, the worries for brides, bridegrooms and any professional putting on events. My response is the guarantee I give to honour any events that have to change date due to coronavirus, with new dates being accommodated without charge. This happened a lot in 2020/21. I have number of events from then moved to this year.
Looking ahead, I have a return to a very large annual dinner in February at the InterContinental in Park Lane, with weddings starting very soon. I am so looking forward to being part of these joyous occasions.
I am delighted to be back at the Essex Wedding fair at Unit 7, Basildon on Sunday 20th February. This is the largest free wedding exhibition in Essex, and is open from 11am-4pm. Free parking on site. Come along to meet me and talk with me, and other excellent suppliers who will make your day.
Thats it for now, folks. Save to say, for a matchless service, look no further than toastmasterguy. Check out my testimonials, video, photos and more info on my website. I look forward to your call!
